Labour Research Department launches Centenary Appeal
For 100 years, the Labour Research Department (LRD) has been publishing news and information and undertaking research to support the trade union movement.
One hundred years on from its launch as part of the Fabian Society, our work is more relevant than ever with unions depending on LRD services to represent their members in an increasingly challenging environment.
We're launching our Centenary Appeal for funds to help guarantee the LRD's continuing success. We want to raise ?100,000 to ensure that we go on providing the services needed by a modern trade union movement.
With your support we can:
Lionel Fulton, secretary of the LRD, said: "It's remarkable to think that the Labour Research Department has been serving the trade union movement for a hundred years."
"The funds generated from our Centenary Appeal will be an enormous help in ensuring we can continue to provide unions with the resources and services they need in the future."
We'll be providing regular updates on the appeal in Labour Research which will include the names of all donors. Thank you in advance for your kind support.
