LRD constitution 1912
Founded in July 1912, LRD has maintained the principles embodied in its initial constitution throughout the last 100 years, and provided its affiliates with a wealth of information and research. In 2018 LRD became a company limited by guarantee (Company Number 11429402). Individual members and affiliates continue to enjoy the same rights and benefits as before (see articles).
Annual General Meeting
The 2019 Annual General Meeting of the Labour Research Department (LRD) will take place on Monday 20 May 2019 starting at 2.00pm at Jerwood Space, 171 Union Street, London SE1 0LN (map). If your organisation is affiliated to the LRD or you are affiliated as an individual, you are entitled to nominate candidates for election to the LRD Board of Directors for the year May 2019 to April 2020. More details about how to make a nomination and a nomination form are available here. Nominations must reach us by Thursday 28 February 2019.
The Labour Research Department has over 4,000 trade union organisations and individuals, including 51 national unions, representing more than 99% of total TUC membership, affiliated or subscribing to its services.
